What our verification badges mean.
Working draft. This page is a working draft and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch.
Listing statuses
Unverified — submitted by a user; not yet confirmed.
Self-attested — submitter indicated the business is Black-owned, but it has not been independently confirmed.
Claimed — an owner or representative has claimed the listing through our claim flow.
Admin-confirmed — FeedBlack has reviewed available evidence and marked the listing as confirmed Black-owned.
Limits
Verification is not a legal certification unless explicitly stated. FeedBlack may request proof or change a status at any time.
