Raechel Stewart, also known as Rae, is a graphic designer, maker, and the creative force behind Tagged District. Her work is shaped by a deep love for the hands-on side of design — the materials, textures, production methods, and real-world details that turn an idea into something people can actually wear, use, and connect with. What started as a college project became a brand with its own voice and world. Rae built Tagged District as a response to streetwear that felt too focused on logos and not enough on personality. Her vision is rooted in creativity, upcycling, playfulness, and clothing that does not have to follow narrow stereotypes. As the self-described “mayor” of Tagged District, Rae has guided the brand through redesigns, restarts, studio changes, product experiments, markets, and personal setbacks while continuing to grow stronger with each comeback. Her goal is to create more than apparel — she wants people to feel like part of a community when they wear her work.
